Homecoming Information

It’s time to pack your bags and get ready for Destination Homecoming! From Monday, September 27th through Friday, October 1st, action-packed activities will be put on by the OHS Student Council for 2021 Homecoming! At OHS, events like dress-up days will be in effect; Monday Travel Day (Pajamas), Tropical Tuesday (beach clothes), Texas (dress up like a cowboy), Alabama Rush (sorority/fraternity style clothing), and Spirit Day where everyone wears Osky gear on Friday! Some of the featured events are Powderpuff Football which will be played on Monday, September 27th at 8:00pm at Lacey Stadium! On Tuesday, September 28th, Powderpuff Volleyball will be played in the OHS Spectator Gym and it will directly follow the Varsity Girls volleyball game against Indianola! On Thursday, September 30th we will have the Homecoming Parade at the square. Line up will begin at 5:30 and the parade will be at 6:30; all spectators will be expected to park away from the lineup in order to prevent traffic for parade members. If your business or organization would like to be a part of the parade, please contact Mrs. Gile immediately at gilek@oskycsd.org. The coronation of Homecoming King and Queen will be at the Old Community Stadium directly following the end of the parade where you can see the OHS Marching Band put on their show, listen to our choir, and listen to OHS Alum Preston Sereg. Finally on Friday, October 1st the Oskaloosa Indians will play the Newton Cardinals for the Homecoming Game where seniors will be recognized! Hop in your car and travel for Oskaloosa High School’s 2021 Destination: Homecoming! See you there!
